1. Introduction


This Refund & Return Policy outlines the terms for returns, refunds, or replacements of products purchased on mOOm – Har Ghar Ki Dukan. We aim for transparency, fairness, and customer satisfaction, adhering to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and E-Commerce Rules, 2020.


2. Eligibility


A product is eligible for return or refund if:


* Damaged, defective, or incorrect upon delivery.

* Unused, in original condition, with invoice and original packaging.

* Return request initiated within 7 days of delivery.

* Certain items are non-returnable (see Section 5).


3. Return Process


To request a return:


* Log in to your mOOm account and go to “My Orders.”

* Select the order and click “Request Return.”

* Upload images of the product (if damaged or incorrect).

* Our team will verify and schedule a pickup (if applicable).

* Refund or replacement will be processed after quality inspection.


4. Refund Process


Refunds are initiated after product verification and processed via the original payment method within 7–10 business days. For Cash on Delivery (COD) payments, refunds are issued via bank transfer or wallet credit after confirmation.


5. Non-Returnable Products


The following are non-returnable:


* Perishable goods (e.g., food, seeds, plants).

* Personal hygiene, medical, or health products.

* Customized or made-to-order items.

* Digital downloads, software, or licenses.

* Products sold under “Final Sale” or “Non-returnable” tags.


6. Cancellations


Orders can be cancelled before dispatch without penalty. Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled but may be eligible for return upon delivery. mOOm reserves the right to cancel and refund orders due to stock unavailability or system errors.


7. Replacement Policy


Replacements are provided for eligible damaged or incorrect items, subject to product availability and inspection. If unavailable, a full refund will be issued.


8. Seller & Vendor Responsibility


Third-party vendors must comply with this policy. Failure to process valid returns/refunds may result in penalties, suspension, or delisting under E-Commerce Rules, 2020.


9. Dispute Resolution


Unresolved issues can be escalated to mOOm Customer Support or the Grievance Officer. Disputes are governed by Indian law under the jurisdiction of Faizabad (Ayodhya), Uttar Pradesh.
