Purpose: This Seller Policy establishes the terms, responsibilities, and guidelines for vendors or sellers operating on the mOOm – Har Ghar Ki Dukan platform. It is designed to ensure fair trading practices, compliance with Indian e-commerce laws, and the maintenance of a secure and reliable marketplace for customers and sellers.
Seller Registration: Vendors are required to complete the official seller registration process on mOOm. This includes providing valid business registration documents, GSTIN (if applicable), PAN, and bank account details. By registering, sellers agree to adhere to the mOOm Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws.
Product Listing & Accuracy: Sellers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all product information, including images, descriptions, specifications, and pricing. The provision of misleading or false information is strictly prohibited. mOOm reserves the right to remove or correct listings that violate platform policies or applicable regulations.
Order Fulfillment: Sellers are obligated to process and dispatch orders promptly, adhering to the shipping timelines established by mOOm. Any delays must be communicated immediately to both mOOm and the customer. Failure to fulfill orders may result in account suspension or other penalties.
Pricing & Taxes: Sellers are responsible for setting accurate prices, inclusive of all applicable GST or other taxes. Price errors must be reported to mOOm immediately. mOOm reserves the right to cancel or adjust orders in the event of listing errors.
1. Introduction
Welcome to mOOm – Har Ghar Ki Dukaan! This Seller/Vendor Policy outlines the rules, responsibilities, and rights of all sellers or vendors registered on the mOOm platform. By registering as a seller, you agree to comply with this policy, all applicable laws, and the Terms of Service of mOOm.
2. Eligibility Criteria
To become a seller on mOOm, you must:
* Be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
* Possess a valid GST Number (if applicable) and PAN Card.
* Maintain a bank account in your registered business name.
* Provide accurate KYC documents (Aadhaar, Address Proof, Business Certificate, etc.).
* Accept the terms of the Vendor Agreement and Platform Subscription (if applicable).
3. Account Registration
Vendors must complete the online registration form at [moompl.com/vendor]. All details (business name, contact info, address, product details) must be genuine and verifiable. mOOm reserves the right to verify or reject any application without prior notice.
4. Product Listing & Pricing
Vendors are responsible for uploading accurate and truthful product details, including titles, images, specifications, and prices. Product descriptions must not violate copyright, trademark, or third-party rights. mOOm reserves the right to review, modify, or remove listings that are misleading or inappropriate. Prices must be inclusive of all applicable taxes.
5. Order Processing
Upon receiving an order, vendors must confirm and dispatch products within the specified dispatch timeline (1–3 days). Proper packaging and labeling are mandatory. Tracking details must be updated promptly. Failure to process orders may result in account suspension.
6. Payments & Settlements
Payments are released to the vendor’s registered bank account after successful delivery and confirmation by the buyer. mOOm deducts commission fees, payment gateway charges, and applicable taxes. Settlement frequency is weekly or bi-weekly, depending on the plan/subscription. Refunds or returns (if applicable) are adjusted in the next settlement cycle.
7. Returns, Refunds & Disputes
Vendors must adhere to mOOm’s Return & Refund Policy. In case of disputes, both buyer and vendor must cooperate with mOOm’s resolution team. Refunds due to product damage, non-delivery, or misrepresentation are the vendor’s responsibility.
8. Subscription Plans & Wallet System
Vendors may choose from available Subscription Packages (Basic, Premium, Enterprise). Subscription fees are non-refundable. Vendors can use the Vendor Wallet for transactions, commissions, and settlements. Wallet misuse or fraudulent activities will result in a permanent ban.
9. Compliance & Legal Obligations
Vendors must comply with all applicable laws, including the Consumer Protection (E-commerce) Rules, 2020 and the GST Act. The sale of prohibited items (counterfeit, expired, or restricted goods) is strictly forbidden. Any violation may lead to legal action and removal from the platform.
10. Marketing & Promotions
Vendors may participate in sales campaigns, advertisements, or promotions organized by mOOm. All promotional offers must be pre-approved by mOOm’s admin team. mOOm reserves the right to display vendor products on its marketing channels.
11. Vendor Support & Training
mOOm offers vendor onboarding, training, and support through tutorials, webinars, and chat support. Vendors can raise issues via the Vendor Helpdesk or Support Chat within their dashboard.
12. Account Suspension & Termination
mOOm may suspend or terminate a vendor’s account for:
* Repeated policy violations
* Non-fulfillment of orders
* Fraudulent practices
* Misuse of customer data
* Non-payment of dues
Vendors may also voluntarily terminate their account by submitting a written request to support@moompl.com.
13. Data Protection & Confidentiality
Vendor and customer data will be handled as per mOOm’s Privacy Policy. Vendors must not share or misuse customer information.
14. Limitation of Liability
mOOm acts as an online marketplace and is not the manufacturer or seller of vendor products. Liability for product quality, legality, or warranty lies solely with the vendor.
15. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated periodically. Vendors will be notified of significant changes through email or dashboard alerts.

By registering as a Vendor on mOOm, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Seller/Vendor Policy and related platform terms.
Returns & Refunds: Sellers must honor return, replacement, and refund requests in accordance with mOOm policies. Refunds must be processed promptly and accurately. mOOm may intervene in the event of disputes or non-compliance with the stated policies.
Prohibited Activities: Sellers are strictly prohibited from the following: listing counterfeit, illegal, or restricted products; engaging in fraudulent or manipulative practices; utilizing spam or misleading advertising; and infringing upon intellectual property rights.
Performance Monitoring: mOOm monitors seller performance based on several factors, including order fulfillment rate, customer complaints and ratings, and overall compliance with platform policies. Unsatisfactory performance may result in warnings, suspension, or account termination.
Termination: mOOm reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts for any breach of this policy or non-compliance with Indian laws. Outstanding payouts will be settled after verification, in accordance with platform guidelines.
Liability: Sellers are solely responsible for their products, deliveries, tax obligations, and legal compliance. mOOm assumes no liability for any claims, losses, or damages arising from seller actions, except as required under applicable Indian e-commerce regulations.
Dispute Resolution: For disputes with customers or platform-related issues, sellers should contact support@moompl.com. All disputes are governed by Indian law under the jurisdiction of the courts in Faizabad (Ayodhya), Uttar Pradesh, India.
